WIRE WRAP CLASSES ATTENTION: BEAD/CRAFT STORE OWNERS With the increasing interest in the ancient art of wire wrap jewelry making and design, the timing could not be better for the introduction of my new and exciting book: Wire Wrap 101 All too often the desire to learn wire wrap art is put aside for lack of instructional material that is truly aimed at the beginner and the struggling student. All of that has changed with this new, comprehensive and beautifully illustrated book, presented in a step-by-step format. A picture is worth a thousand words, however, a thousand words describing how to create the picture, is priceless. ABOUT "WIRE WRAP 101" THE COURSE The course is designed for the beginner and the struggling student. While learned skills in the field of wire art may be helpful, they are not necessary. This is not a course in wire beading or stringing. The 70 page book is spiral bound for ease of use, in an 8 1/2 x 11 inch format, with over 250 graphic illustrations, sizing charts, design guides, artist design notes and a six-page glossary. The first section covers Wire Wrap - Basics including hand tools, wire handling safety, wire manipulations, and the "wire-group" core structure. The Fundamental Earring and Bracelet are also covered in the first class. The second class covers The Conventional Form Ring and the third class explores The Free-Form Pendant and More. The course is presented in three (3-1/2 hour) classes or two (5 1/2 hour) classes, depending upon regional location and other arrangements. Each student must have, or have access to, (through your store) a set of basic hand tools, wire for 5 projects and the basic stones for the rings and pendant. Each student will receive a free copy of the book, Wire Wrap 101. Jewelry pieces made in the classes are the possessions of the students; however, my intent for this course is to teach the craft and techniques of wire wrap jewelry making and design. Because of the nature and timing of these classes and the support company/sponsors, missed classes by the student would be the student's loss. Session make-up may be negotiated on a one-on-one basis with the instructor. The class size is limited to the first six persons to sign up. The limited number is necessary to assure personal assistance to each student in developing the techniques and the skills of wire wrapping. * * * For additional information on wire wrap instructional classes and fee schedules, please contact me at my web mail address: ron@wirewrap101.com
